Aliyev : Iran supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan
Teheran/09.04.14/Turan : Speaking in a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, the Azeri president said Baku attaches great importance to Tehrans support for the issue of Karabakh.
" The conflict must be resolved on the basis of four UN Security Council resolutions. Iran's position on this issue is fair, and based on international law, implying the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan," Iranian IRNA quoted Aliyev.
In turn, Hassan Rouhani said that Tehran is ready to participate in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict based on international law and justice, through peaceful diplomatic ways.
He also said that in a short time he will visit Azerbaijan, and welcomed the position of Baku that Iran has the right to develop peaceful nuclear energy. -16D-
