Corona Virus Appears in Occupied Territory
Baku / 07.04.20 / Turan: The first people infected with the Corona Virus appeared in Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh occupied by Armenia.
One man was urgently taken by an ambulance to the hospital of the city of Khankendi from Lachin, which in the message is called Kashatag. Evacuation to the central hospital was carried out on the morning of April 2, and the website Tert.am reported this on April 7. The patient returned to Karabakh from Armenia, which in the message was called the "focus of infection."
The second person who was tested was a neighbor of a citizen returning from Armenia, who was transferred to the same medical institution on April 4 with another problem - with symptoms of bronchitis.
All the residents of Lachin who came into contact with the patient — 17 people — were self-insulated, so far they have no symptoms of the disease. In the homes of these people disinfection work was carried out. After isolation of the sick citizen, the village (the Armenian name of the village is Mishik), in which he was located, was taken under control. This village is located 39 km from the regional center Lachin, and 89 km from Khankendi. — 0—
