Government will write off debts of 600 thousand Georgians
Tbilisi/19.11.18/Turan: The Georgian government cancels the debts of more than 600 thousand citizens of the country on the eve of the New Year. This was announced today by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. Debts will be written off to citizens from the "black list", which includes people who do not pay a percentage of the loan on time. According to Georgian media reports, the total amount of outstanding debts of Georgians is 1.5 billion lari (more than 500 million dollars).
Debt zeroing will begin on December 15 and will end on December 31, Bakhtadze said. At the same time, he did not explain from which sources the debts of citizens would be repaid. -02D-
