Trip of American diplomats to the NAR
On September 17 a delegation of the Embassy of the United States visited Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), according to Turan regional correspondent.
The delegation with participation of the Deputy Ambassador Derek S. Hogan, spokesman Jonas Stewart, Rebecca Nassar, and the representative of the press service Mehdi Huseynguliyev had meetings in the CEC NAR, Nakhchivan State University, and the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan for the NAR.
The U.S. diplomats met with the heads of regional organizations of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (PFP), "Musavat", "Umid", and discussed with them the political situation in the country.
Embassy officials also visited the Democracy Resource Center and NGO Development, and Nakhchivan community information center, where they met with civil society activists Malahat Nasibova, Hakimeldostu Mehdiyev, and Ilgar Nasibov. -0-
