The Yeni Sabah.az website provides forecasts of the Fitch Ratings international rating agency regarding oil prices. The agency notes that oil price forecasts for 2020-2021 have not changed. So, in 2020, the cost of Brent and WTI crude oil will be $ 62.5 and $ 57.5, respectively.
Experts believe that oil could fall to $ 40 under the influence of geopolitical factors, such as events in Iran and Venezuela.
The price is still at a comfortable level of 63-65 dollars, so you should not expect changes in the manat rate.
The website Lent.az writes about the prevailing unsanitary conditions in the markets, especially given the rainy weather and the associated mud and slush. Cheap goods are laid right on the ground. Therapist Ramil Hasanli, commenting on the situation, says that selling fish, greens and other products laid right on the ground is dangerous to health. Many people do not want to pay extra for the counters, so they sell goods directly from the ground. This can lead to poisoning. Diseases that can spread and their treatment will be expensive.
