The Ministry of Taxes, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General"s Office said in a joint statement that the tax inspectors were attacked when they came to the Relax Recreation Center with an inspection.
According to information, the Recreation Center belongs to the deputy of the Milli Majlis from the constituency Lerik, Igbal Mammadov.
"The audit was caused by a sharp decrease in tax payments from the Recreation Center. Despite there are 20 different facilities in the Center, and the actual area is more than 14 hectares, last year the amount of tax payments amounted to only 10 726 manat, and for 2019 - only 972 manat," the message said.
Representatives of the Ministry of Taxes, who arrived at the facility for verification, faced resistance from the administration. Intervention by police and executive bodies di d not give result. "The Center"s employees attacked the tax authorities and police, causing them various injuries," the report said.

By the court"s decision, the managing director of the Center, Mirhamid Narimanli (the son of the MP), as well as his relatives - Orhan Narimanli, Parviz Askerov, Famil Imanov, Rakhim Shakhverdiyev and Amir Abbasov, were arrested. They are charged under the Articles 309.2 (abuse of office, which led to grave consequences) and 315.2 of the Criminal Code (violence against government officials). Authorities remain silent about Relax incident
Baku/19.08.19/Turan: ON 18 August an incident involving dozens of people took place in the Relax recreation center , in the Lerik region of the country.
