Ruling Party Completely Changes Leadership of Milli Majlis (updated)
Baku / 10.03.20 / Turan: On March 10, the Board of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party decided to completely change the leadership of the Milli Majlis, where this party has a majority.
According to sources in the ruling party, Sahiba Gafarova was nominated for the post of speaker of the Milli Majlis (instead of Oktay Asadov), Ali Huseynli was nominated as the first vice speaker (instead of Ziyafet Askerov), Adyl Aliyev (instead of Bahar Muradova) and Azay Guliev or Hijran Huseynova (instead of Valeh Aleskerov) became candidates for the posts of vice speakers.
The election of these persons to these posts should occur at the first meeting of the new parliament of the country, which will be held in the near future.
