20th Exhibition of Food Industry opens in Baku tomorrow
The twentieth anniversary exhibition of food industry World Food Azerbaijan 2014 will be held from 22 to 24 May in Baku Expo Center for food industry professionals, manufacturers, exporters and importers of food, beverages and consumer goods consumption.
On Wednesday, May 21 at the Hotel JW Marriott Absheron Baku was held a press conference, where Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilham Guliyev said that the current show is not only of the achievements of the agricultural sector, but also a meeting place with the latest equipment and technology in agriculture and food industry. To participate in the exhibition agriculture ministers of three countries arrived.
In parallel passes the 8th Azerbaijan International Exhibition of Agriculture, the 3rd Caspian International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition, as well as the 3rd Caspian International Exhibition of Packaging, Tare, Label and Printing. In general, the work of the exhibitions will be attended by 242 companies from 36 countries. 45 % of the participants will make their debut.
More than half of foreign participants are from the countries of Europe. Some countries (Italy, the Netherlands, Iran, Hungary, Latvia and Estonia) will have their national stands. In general, the exhibitions increased compared to 2013 by 2.5 times, said the manager of the exhibitions Zarina Mamedova.
