Priorities for Business of Khazar District of Baku
Priorities for businesses in the Khazar district of the capital are mainly in the agricultural area.
According to the announcement of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES), it considers appropriate crediting of projects of greenhouses, enterprises for the production of facing stone, meat cutting and plastic containers, as well as farms for the cultivation of olives and grapes in the greenhouse conditions.
With such projects people may apply to credit institutions authorized by the Fund, as well as for the appropriate counseling. They can even count on a loan of up to 100% of the project cost.
NFES was established in 1992. Its agents in the issuance of loans are 57 banks and non-bank credit organizations.
Last year, through the NFES local entrepreneurs received 295 million manats. In absolute terms, 80% of the funds were received by large farms controlled by monopolists. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
