The Accounting Chamber identified the next financial irregularities
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan (SPA), on August 2 meeting discussed a plan for verifying the level of budget funds allocated to the intended use of the enterprises and organizations, on the balance of the Executive Power of Tartar region.
It was also reported on some of the nuances of the intended use of state capital investments allocated for the needs of executive power of the Zagatala, Shamkir and Gadabay areas. Some materials were sent to the Parliament.
In addition, the House approved a program of audit performance of funds allocated from the state budget for the maintenance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Azerbaijan significantly increased its rice imports to 52,500 tons in the first nine months of 2024, marking a 15.1% rise in physical weight and a 33.3% rise in import value compared to the same period in 2023, according to government data.
