Iran Reports about 4,700 Dead in Mecca
During the recent stampede of pilgrims in Mecca not 769 but 4,700 people were killed. This was stated by the head of the Iranian Hajj Committee Ahvadiya.
According to him, currently 21 large-capacity trucks TIR are containing 3,000 corpses.
Ahvadiya also claims that 228 Iranians were killed in Mecca, while the fate of 248 remains unknown.
The Iranian side is opposed to the Saudi Arabian suggestion to bury all the pilgrims who died in Mecca in a mass grave.
Recall that a stampede in Mecca on Holy Sacrifice Day resulted in killing 769 pilgrims, while 934 received various injuries. -05D04-
