M.Agayev returns to the air in the form of REAL TV
Baku / 05.03.18 / Turan: On March 5 the meeting of the National TV and Radio Council of the country was held, at which the request for a license for satellite broadcasting for REAL TV LLC was granted, reads the message on the site of the NTRC. According to unofficial information, this structure will be headed by Mirshahin Agayev, former vice-president of the ANS television channel. The attempts of Turan agency to get the comment from Agayev were futile, his mobile was unavailable.
It should be noted that the ANS television channel was closed by the authorities after an attempted coup in Turkey in July 2016. Then the channel was accused of connivance with terrorism. According to unofficial data, the new television channel will be informational, its funding and policy will be completely under government control. -02D-

On November 26, the Baku Court of Appeals reviewed the appeal of human rights defender Anar Mammadli, who contested the extension of his detention.
