Morningstar: Fudge about Senate staff - blow to bilateral relations
U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar, commenting on the Azerbaijani media reports on "intelligence activities" of the staff of the Senate, called the allegations "absurd."
"The allegations of intelligence activities of the two employees of the Senate are so absurd, ridiculous and false that I do not want to comment on them or to give them significance," the Azerbaijani service of Radio Liberty quoted Morningstar.
According to him, these things are detrimental to the bilateral relations.
"I can only assume that those who spread such frankly fraudulent statements want to strike at the US-Azerbaijani relations. This can not be allowed," the ambassador stated. -06D -
