Picket in Support of Hilal Mamedov
Members of the Committee for Protection of the rights of arrested Tolyshi Sado editor, Hilal Mamedov, picketed in front of Baku Court of Grave Crimes.
The picket was timed to coincide with the next court hearing on Mamedov’s case.
Participants of the rally protested against the closed trial of Mamedov and against the violation of his rights. They raised a banner with the slogan: "Freedom for Hilal Mamedov”.
Committee member Mehtibek Safarov said, that the judicial inquiry is conducted with gross procedural violations and dismissal of defense motions.
