ASAN will issue licenses and certificates on residence
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on measures to enhance transparency in the provision of public services, electronic licensing procedures and residence registration.
Henceforth, it will be possible to receive reference on residence in the service of ASAN. Thus, the issuance of certificates of residence will be carried out in an electronic order using data from the automated system "Entry-exit and registration" and other systems.
Also, a certificate will be available on the basis of identity cards and the same day.
Ministry of Economy and ASAN was commissioned to create the portal of "electronic license" in order to ensure the issuance of electronic order special permits (licenses), certificates and other documents required for doing business.
Interior Ministry instructed during the month to determine the form of certificates of persons who are registered in the community.
MIA also instructed to ensure the provision of services referred to in the first part of the Decree, in the service center "ASAN" and in the structures of Ministry of Interior in the registration and issuance of identity cards.
State Migration Service under the consideration of requests for determination of citizenship of Azerbaijan, together with the Ministry of the Interior shall ensure the electronic exchange of data on registration of residence and other necessary information.
Ministry of Transport entrusted with the "ASAN" service center for issuing taxi special permit (license) for passenger carriages and the issue of "Insignia" to taxi.- 06D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
