Baku/11.01.23/Turan: On the morning of 11 January border guards detained two citizens of Azerbaijan who were trying to cross state border towards Iran, near Beyuk Bahmanlн village of Fizuli region.
According to the State Border Service, the violators were Barda residents Elmaddin Jafarov, born in 2003, and Seyfal Suleymanov, born in 2005.
During the initial interrogation both confessed that they intended to go to Iran in order to bring drugs from there. Operational investigative measures are underway, it said. -05D-
