Family soldier accuses military prosecutor
On Tuesday, relatives of the soldier Ismail Ibaye, who died last summer in strange circumstances, held a press conference in the Media Centre. The soldier was called to the army in April this year and served in Nakhchivan. According to the Defense Ministry, on July 31 the soldier shot himself.
However, parents are convinced that the soldier was killed, in order to sell his organs. They argue that the internal organs were sold to Iran by the military prosecutor of Nakhchivan. According to parents, despite two months passed since the death of the soldier, they are not given the head of the deceased, so that they buried it with the body.
The soldier’s parents also have accused the military prosecutor Khanlar Veliyev, who has not keep to his promise to hold an objective investigation; the case has not been sent yet from Nakhchivan to the military prosecutor of Azerbaijan.
The soldier’s relatives blame the leadership of the Nakhchivan military prosecutors and experts, who carried out the autopsy. Earlier, the military prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Defense denied the accusations.—05С06-

The Rome Institute of European Design (IED) has granted a full tuition waiver to Azerin Gasymly, a third-year student and daughter of Azerbaijani political activist Azer Gasymly, who is currently detained on charges of extortion. The institute’s decision follows an appeal from Gasymly’s family, citing financial hardship due to her father's imprisonment, which they claim is politically motivated.
