The deputy of the allied country calls for the bombing of Azerbaijan
Baku/29.03.22/Turan: Mikhail Delyagin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Economic Policy, last week, on the air of the state television channel Russia-1, “60-minutes”, called for Azerbaijan to be punished for refusing to comply with the demand of Russian peacekeepers.
“Our Ministry of Defense said that they retreated back after we talked to them. But Baku officially announced that they did not leave the occupied territories anywhere. Therefore, this policy of aggression is a real danger. This should be punished harshly and unambiguously. Why do we need the oil industry of Azerbaijan? We don't need it, it is extremely vulnerable. If people do not understand words, they will probably have to understand deeds. If we don't, we won't be. The only question is this."
However, Delyagin did not rest on this; today, in his social network account, he put up for discussion a proposal to drop a nuclear bomb on Baku. What caused such strong irritation of Russian official circles?
Political commentator Nasimi Mammadli answered this question in the "Difficult Question" program. According to him, speeches full of hatred and malice addressed to us by representatives of the Russian authorities are not new.
“We used to hear such speeches and appeals from Vladimir Zhirinovsky. He, as it were, voiced what they think in the Kremlin. Now, due to the fact that Zhirinovsky has health problems, his life is in danger, he has an understudy,” Mammadli said.
In his opinion, Delyagin spontaneously, on his own initiative, could not make such statements. "Analysis of changes in Russia's regional policy, as well as its developments, shows that this is an integral part of a systematic approach, although in fact Delyagin's statement looks completely insane and frivolous," the political observer believes.
Mammadli did not rule out that extreme irritation in Russia could be caused not only by the refusal of Azerbaijani servicemen to fulfill the demand of Russian peacekeepers, but also by the negative public opinion that had formed in Azerbaijan regarding Russia. “In Russia, our social networks are monitored, their representatives here in our country study the opinion of the Azerbaijani society. In addition, they are very nervous because they understand that after the aggression against Ukraine, the West will make every effort to curb Russia's geopolitical encroachments. Delyagin's hysteria, in all likelihood, is connected with all this,” the political scientist suggested.--0--
