Ministry of Taxes legalized 3,200 jobs
Within two months of the year in the course of operational audits, conducted by the staff of the Ministry of Taxes, there were revealed violations of labor laws in 1,434 taxpayers who hired workers without negotiation of individual employment contracts.
The press service of the ministry told Turan that taxpayers provided the conclusion of labor contracts in January and February of this year, with 3,200 illegal workers.
The message of the Taxes Ministry states that tax control over labor relations was strengthened in the second half of 2012, resulting in 97,480 jobs legalized by about 25.9 thousand businesses. Thus, the tax base for the income tax on individuals is being expanded. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
