Profitability of CBA fell to 1.42% per annum
Short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) series 50105134S at the total amount of AZN 10 million were posted in the auction, which took place December 19, 2012. The volume of accepted non-competitive bids amounted to 1.996 million manat.
The announced offer was 30 million manat; put up for sale were notes for AZN 10 million, and the total demand for them from three investors exceeded 24 mln at face value. Orders were presented in price range from 99.8900% (YTM 1.42%) to 99.7688% (2.98).
Price cut for competitive bids in the CBA was at 99.8900% (1.42%) and equal to the weighted average.
Repayment of the notes will be on 16 January 2013. At the previous auction the Central Bank notes were sold at a price of 2.20% per annum. - 15D -
