Russia and Azerbaijan signed protocol on border communication
At the meeting at the Samur border check point on July 23, 2013 chiefs of the Azerbaijan and Russian Transport Ministries signed the protocol of the border communication.
The information posted on the Azerbaijan Transport Ministry’s web site reads that the protocol envisages construction of a new automobile bridge across Samur river and repair of the pedestrian crossing. The information about funding and construction works is unavailable.
On the same day Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov has familiarized himself with the course of construction of a new automobile bridge at the Yarag-Kazmalyar (Russia) – Samur (Azerbaijan) check point through the Russian-Azerbaijani border, reported the Russian Transport Ministry.—0—
