Dorokhin: Putin instructs talks on Karabakh
Russia understands the Karabakh conflict and does everything it can to solve the problem on the basis of international law, said Vladimir Dorokhin, the Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan. Dorokhin was commenting on the belief that Putin, unlike his predecessor, Medvedev, does not pay attention to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
"Russia remains one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - the main tool in the search of a fair solution to the conflict. Putin knows perfectly what the talk is about. He is aware of the negotiation process, which is based on his instructions. And Russia did all it could do, and will continue to do everything to reach a fair settlement based on international law," said Dorokhin.
