Ilham Aliyev congratulates the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday
Baku/29.04.22/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the holy holiday of Ramadan. Aliyev noted with a sense of satisfaction that thanks to the victory won in the 44-day war, “in the struggle for a just cause, life is being revived in the liberated land of our ancestors, the historical and cultural heritage, places of worship are being restored, the sounds of adhan are heard in mosques.”
“On these holy holidays, once again, with respect, I pay tribute to the immortal memory of our brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, may Allah rest their souls, I wish their families patience, and our ghazis (wounded in battle) health.”
“We see off Ramadan, which crowns eleven months, with a sense of gratitude and spiritual rapture. I believe that thanks to your prayers in the name of the progress and prosperity of our country, the Almighty Creator will bestow His mercy on our people,” the appeal says.
The monthly fast ends on May 1, and Ramadan Bayram is celebrated on May 2-3.—0—
