In Georgia, the employees of force structures summoned for interrogation

Tbilisi/03.06.17/Turan: Opposition summons to parliament the Georgian Interior Minister George Mgebrishvili and head of State Security Service Vakhtang Gomelauri. They will be required to answer all questions, in connection with the kidnapping the Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarly, said at the briefing on June 2 Otar Kakhidze, representative of the faction "European Georgia - Movement for Freedom" of the Georgian parliament.

"We, the "European Georgia" demand that the head of the State Security Council (SSB), Mr.Gomelauri and the head of the Moscow Inter-regional Movement, Mr.Mgebrishvili, appear before the fractions of the parliamentary minority and answer all the questions that the society has about the kidnapping Afgan Mukhtarly. We must immediately react to these outrageous actions, and all persons who were involved in them, must necessarily be brought to justice," Kakhidze said.

According to him, three employees of the criminal police of Georgia participated in the kidnapping Afghan Mukhtarli, and high-ranking officials of the State Security Service, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in this case. Otar Kakhidze appealed to the parliamentary majority and urged him to realize the inadmissibility of such acts and not become their accomplices. -02D-
