Maduro Arrived for Investment (UPDATED)
Investment Opportunities in Venezuela was the theme of today's meeting of the President of the country Nicolas Maduro with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizadeh.
Arriving on an official visit to Baku yesterday, Maduro primarily told Rasizadeh about the opportunities of the energy sector of Venezuela.
The sides exchanged views on the expansion of economic relations between the countries in the field of tourism, culture and agriculture. According to Maduro, Venezuela is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas, given that both countries are oil producers.
Note that Maduro commits a regional tour to several oil-producing countries.
Venezuela's economy is on the brink of collapse after a sharp drop in oil prices and the political situation is far from stable. The main task of the authorities is to find funds for the salvation of the economy. In this sense, investment in this country is extremely risky and unlikely to be justified. -02D-
