"Musavat" is not given venue for Congress
The leader of "Musavat" Isa Gambar, sent a letter to the mayor of the capital on the occasion of the next Congress. Gambar recalled that he several times appealed to the mayor in 2012 with the same request , but received a negative response.
The letter stated that the venue provided in Sabunchu and Surakhani districts of the capital are unsuitable for this kind of event because they are intended for a small number of people.
Leader of "Musavat" notes that the ruling party holds its congresses in the Drama Theatre, and pro-government youth organization in the largest halls of the capital. The authorities give them that opportunity. The same opportunity they should provide for the leading opposition parties. The letter noted that Congress is scheduled for May 24 this year, and the party expects to receive timely response on the opportunity to hold the Congress in the relevant premises of the capital. -05D04-
