Pashinyan goes to Moscow for talks - Putin
Moscow/December 20.12.18/Turan: Nothing has collapsed between Armenia and Russia, which requires restoration, Russian President Vladimir Putin said this at a press conference on Thursday, answering the question of how Russia will restore its policy towards Armenia after the elections there.
"And what should be restored? We have nothing that collapsed, and then requires recovery. We have equal relations with Armenia, it is our strategic partner in the region, and generally in the world, a member of the CSTO, a member of the EAEU. What should we recover? We need to develop what is created by previous generations of leaders.
The Armenian people are the closest ally of the Russian people in Transcaucasia, it has historically been, it is, and I hope it will be so. We need to proceed from the realities of the current situation in the world, in the region, based on the needs of our capabilities, and we will soon discuss this with Mr. Pashinyan, who is due to come next week," Putin said. -02D-
