Sulhaddin Akbar reorganizes Open Society Party
Baku/23.12.13/Turan : Open Society Party is dissolved and in its place , a new party is established. In this connection an organizing committee has been created, the party chairman Sulhaddin Akbar told Turan.
Without specifying the reason for the reorganization , he said that the party will probably be renamed, and the Organizing Committee consists of 29 people . The strategy will be determined at a meeting of the Organizing Committee January 5 next year.
At the same time , he said that the party will take a centrist position and follow the liberal- democratic values.
Recall that the Open Society Party was created in 2007 , and its leader was located with 1996 in exile in the United States , ex-speaker of the Milli Mejlis , Rasul Guliyev
The first chairman of the party was Akif Shakhbazov and Sulheddin Akbar led it in 2012 .
October 13 this year , Rasul Guliyev said his resignation as party leader and exit from its ranks . According to unofficial information , he was not satisfied with the work of the National Council of Democratic Forces , which included his party. -05B-
