Ban for leaving the country by journalist lifted
Prosecutor General's Office canceled the ban on leaving the country the journalist Aynur Imanova. "Court to lift the ban on my travel abroad was postponed three times. The judge sent a request to the prosecutor. At today's session of the court of the prosecutor's office received reports on withdrawal travel ban from Aynur Imranov. Therefore the judge of the Nasimi Court Elman Isayev closed the case," said Turan journalist. Restrictions on travel for the journalist was introduced in April 2013, within the framework of the lawsuit against the NGO. The journalist was in the case as a witness.
The ban on journalists, human rights defenders and political activists to leave the country was introduced within the lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office in April 2013. At the same time bank accounts of NGOs were also arrested.
On March 31 member of the Pardon Commission Alimammad Nuriyev said that on 1 April the arrests on bank accounts will be lifted, as well as the ban on leaving the country.
