Employees of the newspapers Azadlig and Yeni Musavat picketed the firm Gasid
The editorial staff of the newspaper Azadlig and Yeni Musavat picketed in front of the press distribution company Gasid yesterday. The event was held to demand repayment of debt to the company by these newspapers.
As the first deputy chief editor of the newspaper Azadlig Rahim Hajiyev said, the company owed the newspaper 35,000 manat, which is why Azadlig was in a difficult financial position.
The journalists were shouting "Give our money!" The head of the company Gasid deputy Mirkazym Kazimov received the journalists, but said nothing concrete. He only vaguely promised that the debt will be repaid.
According to him, Gasid itself is in financial problems, and if it corrects the affairs, then it will start paying the debt in February. -06D –
