The cases of beating of taxi, bus, and trucks drivers by representatives of different structures of Transport Ministry take place very often. Employees of Transport Ministry use such measures when drivers do not agree to work according to their rules, and pay bribes.
According to unofficial information, the sum of illegal collections in transport exceeded several times deductions to state budget from transport sector.
Similar facts are noted in mass media. Turan agency also wrote about such things; in particular it demonstrated video images of rude treatment of the representative of Transport Ministry with drivers. However, neither Transport Ministry, not law enforcement agencies react to such publications. --
