Journalist Ayten Farhadova Detained in ASAN Khidmet
An original form of call to the police has been applied in Azerbaijan. So, the journalist Ayten Farhadova was detained in the service ASAN Khidmet today. She had come there to get a new ID card. However, instead of the certificate she was told that the police had imposed a "ban". Then there came the police officers, who took her to Sumgait.
There she was informed that the Organized Crime Department (OCD) of the MIA called her in for questioning on October 13 at 15:00. No one explained why she was banned the ID card or why the call to the police was made in such an "original" way.
Recall that Farhadova cooperates with the online resource Meydan TV. Before that, she was twice detained and questioned in OCD about the activities of Meydan TV. -02B-
