The fundamentals of entrepreneurship development in the country, the near-term outlook of manat, and psychological assistance in schools are the leading topics of today's media.
The Azerbaycan newspaper writes that Ilham Aliyev"s economic policy has created conditions for a transparent business. The author claims that a strong class of entrepreneurs has been formed in the country, since there is free competition.
The share of the private sector in GDP is quite significant. From 2003 to 2017, the number of business entities increased by 4.2 times, the number of small enterprises - by 2 times, and the number of private entrepreneurs - by 5 times.
For 15 years, due to the private sector, the number of jobs increased by 75%.
The Müsavat website comments on the words of Finance Minister Samir Sharifov that a sharp strengthening of the manat will adversely affect domestic producers and exports.
Expert Gubad Ibadoglu believes that this statement can be viewed as a warning from the government that it is going to weaken the manat.
Gubad Ibadoglu does not consider the statement to be accidental. After reducing the price of oil, the government would like to announce a devaluation in order to facilitate the completion of the budget.
