Ministry of Environment Announces List of Animals Allowed to Hunt for
Baku / 11.10.18 / Turan: A list of animals, hunting of which is allowed in the 2018-2019 season has been published on the website of the Ministry of Environment. These are wild boars, hares, sandpipers, geese, ducks and coot.
The period of hunting for the wild boar is from September 15 to December 22, 2018 in the hunting farms and hunting grounds of Lankaran, Astara, Gakh, Jalilabad, Zagatala, Imishli, Gusar, Khachmaz, Neftchala, Yardimly, Sheki and Ismayilli districts.
The hunting period for the hare is from November 17, 2018 to January 12, 2019 in hunting areas and hunting grounds of Devechi, Kurdamir, Salyan, Neftchala, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Yevlakh, Lankaran, Zagatala, Agstafa, Gazakh, Zardab, Masally, Guba, Khachmaz, Imishli, Sabirabad, and Saatli districts.
The period of hunting for the sandpiper is from September 15 to November 24, 2018.
The period of hunting geese, ducks and coots is from October 13, 2018 to March 1, 2019.
Prohibited is hunting in Agdam, Goygol, Goranboy. Dashkesan, Gedabek, Terter and other border areas, as well as on the islands of the Caspian Sea, planted zones of greenery, 1.5 km from cities and resorts, in specially protected areas and sanitary protection zones.
It should be noted that in the country there are about 10 large hunting farms and several hunting grounds.
The message of the Ministry of Environment does not mention the number of animals allowed to be shot at one time. However, earlier the Ministry of Environment reported that one boar (not less than three hunters), six coots, one goose, three ducks, and one hare can be hunted in one hunt.
Hunting is allowed on the basis of the licenses of the Ministry of Environment and in the presence of a hunting ticket. --02D-
