The centennial anniversary of the Azerbaijani parliament, high bank interest, and expensive loans of non-banking organizations are topics of today's media.
The newspaper "Azerbaijan" writes about the 100th anniversary of the parliament of the first democratic republic in the East.
The article contains the speech of the Speaker of the OSCE Oktay Asadov at a meeting on September 21 stating that the system of the parliamentary republic in the whole East was first applied in Azerbaijan.
The article also contains the speech of the chairman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria, Karayancheva, who noted the special role of parliament in the fate of the APR, and played an important role in the subsequent history of Azerbaijan.
The website "Müsavat.com" writes about high bank interest and the search for a way out of this situation. At present, most banks issue loans at 30%. Such a high interest automatically creates problems for their return and increases the amount of overdue loans.
The newspaper Novoye Vremya writes about the demand for loans from non-banking organizations. Getting a loan from a commercial bank is very difficult, as a result business and the population are forced to turn to non-banking organizations, whose interest is much higher than bank. A non-bank organization takes a loan from a bank and issues money at higher rates, earning on it.
