Prosecutor asks to condemn the founders of the network "Chudo Pechka" for 13 years

Baku/12.07.18/Turan: A state prosecutor's speech on the case of Chingiz Jalilov, the founder of the fast food chain "Chudo Pechka" was held on Thursday in the court for serious crimes. During the trial, the state prosecutor issued an appeal to court with request to imprison Jalilov to 13 years, having found him guilty of embezzlement, large-scale appropriation of someone else's property and abuse. The defendant's lawyer asked for time to prepare for the speech and the next meeting was scheduled for July 20.

According to the investigation, Jalilov colluded with the former head of the Bank Standard, Kriman Salim, took a loan in the amount of 21 874 manats against property pledge. However, the price of this property was clearly overstated.

The purpose of the loan was indicated: the purchase of a dacha, the repair of an apartment, the purchase of land. Documents were registered in the name of Jalilov himself and people close to him. Subsequently, loans were restructured, and almost 14 million manat were appropriated and divided between Jalilov and Kriman.

The fast food chain "Chudo Pechka" was established in the early 2000s and for several years successfully developed, becoming the leading network in Baku. However, a few years later, the network was sold for debts to the bank "Standard", and the latter ceased to exist. -16D-
