Prosecutors Cannot Clearly Explain What They Are Investigating
The Baku Prosecutor continues the investigation into the attempted poisoning of former President Elchibey. The case was filed on August 17 under Article 29,120.1 (attempt of murder) on the basis of the claim from the Modern Musavat Party chairman Hafiz Hajiyev.
As it became known to Turan, the investigators questioned the Assistant to Elchibey Ali Mursaloglu, Doctor Mazahir Mammadov, the lawyer Adil Minbashi, someone Rafik, who lives in the house of Elchibey, and investigated the Elchibey doctors Famil and Mir Sabit and a few others.
But so far the investigation has not invited former close associates of Elchibey - Isa Gambar, Panah Huseyn and Ali Kerimli accused of poisoning him.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office sparingly reported in response to Turan that the criminal investigation is ongoing, without explaining the details. -03B04-
