Two activists of Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) arrested under administrative procedure
Baku/21.10.23/Turan: On October 20 the Binagadi district court on 20 October sentenced the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) activists Ramid Nagiyev and Ayat Ismayilov to 30 days of administrative arrest each. The court found them guilty under Articles 510 (petty hooliganism) and 535.1 (failure to obey lawful demands of the police) of the Code of Administrative Offences. Information about this can be found on the judicial and legal council portal.
The PPFA considers the arrests of activists politically motivated.
"We warned the authorities not to turn our military victory, won at the cost of blood and lives of the nation's children, into an opportunity for mass repression against free, opposition-minded people. After the anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh, a new wave of repression unfolded. Nearly every day someone from political activists, members of the PPFA is arrested. The authorities want to turn the victorious nation into a completely submissive people. Let no one think that by remaining silent he will avoid repression. The arrested activists must defend themselves popularly, for them we must continue to criticise. One for all and all for one must be," Kerimli wrote on facebook.

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
