Baku / 02.05.17 / Turan: A bill on amendments to the law on winemaking was considered at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on agrarian policy on Tuesday. These amendments suggest limiting the advertising of wine products.
In particular, we are talking about wines with strength of more than five percent, which cannot be shown on television, in print media, on the front pages of Internet sites, etc. Advertising of alcohol of any strength will be prohibited in any editions for minors.
Promotions with wine tasting can be held only in retail outlets and tasting rooms. Advertising of wine with strength of 5% will be accompanied by a message about its harm. Discussions on the draft amendments are continuing. -02D-
