Ukraine will win, no one could have predicted such resistance - French Foreign Minister
Kiev/07.03.22/UNİAN: French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that he believes in the victory of Ukraine in the war with Russia.
This was stated by the head of the French Foreign Ministry on the air of the TV channel France 5, quoted DW.
"I believe that Ukraine will win. For ten days the resistance of Ukraine has been striking on such a scale which experts could not have imagined," said Le Drian.
The Minister noted that the price of the war would become unbearable for Russia.
"President Putin at some point will be faced with a choice: either to receive significant consequences for Russia's functioning or to start negotiations," he added.
Le Drian expressed confidence that Western sanctions against Russia will deter Putin from further aggression in the long term.-0-
