ADA and Pasha Bank Establish Loan Program for Students
ADA University and Pasha Bank have established a special student loan program to attract talented high school youth in the 2016/2017 academic year.
For bachelors credits will be given for tuition for the period of 9 years, and for undergraduates – for up to 5 years. Annual interest rates on credits in national currency amount to 7%, depending on the academic performance of students.
The University has established a scholarship program tied to the point system of entrance examinations. Applicants who have scored 690-700 points receive a 100 per cent discount to pay for education for a semester. Those who have scored 660-689 points receive a discount of 40%, 640-659 points - 30%, and 620-639 points - 20% discount.
As noted in the ADA, the credit program is designed to provide a good education for talented young people from the regions where the level of income is the lowest in Azerbaijan.
Education at the University is 6,000 AZN per year. This is more than the average salary in the country.
The educational process at the University is in English, which is taught in schools almost at a zero level. To do this, students with insufficient level of English are offered additional training for EAPP (English for Academic Purposes Program). -0--
