Annual Inflation Was 2.2 %
In January - August this year, consumer price inflation in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.2% year on year. Turan was told by the State Statistics Committee.
According to official estimates, on an annualized basis, food prices rose in January -August 2013 by 2.2%. Non-food prices rose by only 0.5 %. Service providers increased rates by 3.4 %.
It should be noted that during the same period of 2012 annual inflation was 1.7 %. - 08D-

Azerbaijan's state borrowings continue to increase, despite the country still benefiting from high global oil prices. The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan reported that as of the first half of 2024, the country's state debt amounted to 25 billion manats, which corresponds to 21% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
