EU Expert: Land in Azerbaijan Not Yet Evaluated in Due Way
The land in Azerbaijan is still not classified and is not evaluated in the present, and for this it is necessary to create a single evaluation association - said at the seminar "Methods of monitoring the management of land in Baku," the deputy chairman of the State Agency on Land and Cartography of Slovenia, expert Thomas Petek said.
The event was organized by the Expert Commission Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) of the European Union, together with the State Committee for Property Affairs.
During the seminar, local actors and foreign experts have noted the need to improve methods of monitoring of land and the creation of a unified database of cadastral valuation of real estate. Much of the land, including state and municipal, is misused, so there is a need for penalties in this regard, as well as public education. --17D-
