The Government of Azerbaijan has predicted the volume of production of basic types of metals in the country. So, at the end of the year production of gold ore and concentrates will be 1,793 kg (+ 10.7% against last year's results). In 2015, there will be an even larger increase - by 63% against this year - up to 2,923 kg.
Production of silver ore and concentrates for the year should amount to 1,022.9 kg (+ 62.3%), in 2015 – 3,051.9 kg (up to 3 times against this year).
Production of copper ores and concentrates for the year is expected to reach 737 kg (up to 2.2-fold), in 2015 - 997 kg (+ 35.3% against this year).
Last year Azerbaijan produced 1,619.3 kg of gold ore and concentrates, 630.1 kg of silver ore and concentrates and 329 kg of copper ore and concentrates. --17D-
