PASHA Bank increased the number of active payment cards by 28.4%
The total number of active cards issued by JSC PASHA Bank increased for seven months of this year by 1,643 units, or 28.4%, reaching 7,420.
As reported in the bank during the reporting period, the bank has mounted an additional two ATMs, bringing the total number of the equipment up to 17 pieces.
Pasha Bank has the status of a principal member of international payment systems MasterCard and Visa International.
The bank is part of the Group PASHA - a major investment holding company in Azerbaijan that is also widely represented in sectors such as insurance, construction, construction materials, tourism and other areas of business. Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
