Regional tax revenues increased by 4.8%
In 2012, management provided territorial tax revenues to the state budget of 445.5 million manat, which is 25 million or 4.8% more than in the previous year.
The share of regions (cities and districts outside the capital) in the structure of tax and other charges on the Ministry of Taxes was 7.4%. At the same time, revenues from the region declined over the year by 0.3% points.
Last year the Ministry of Taxes collected in regions predicted 414.4 million manat. In 2011, the mobilization of regional budget funds increased by 23.2% compared with 2010. - 08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
