The number of active payment cards of Capital Bank fell 0.6%
The total number of active cards of Capital Bank for seven months of this year decreased by 13,300 or 0.6% to 2,231,101.
According to the Bank for the same period the total number of POS terminals decreased by 139 units to 534. In January-July 2013 the bank has mounted an additional 22 ATMs, bringing the total number to 478 this equipment.
Since 2001, the Bank is a full member of the international payment systems MasterCard International, and since 2003, and Visa International. Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
