Zhaikmunai LP company with the headquarters based in Amsterdam, which was registered in the Men Island and extracts oil and gas on the northwest of Kazakhstan, has changed into name into Nostrum Oil & Gas LP, the company reported.
Nostrum Oil & Gas’s main industrial asset is the Chinarev field located in Kazakhstan on the north of the oil-bearing Caspian basin. The company also possesses such assets as Rostoshinskoye, Darinskoye and South-Gremyachinskoye fields, which are located close to the Chinarev field and the gas refining plant.
The company reported that change of its name reflects development of Nostrum Oil and Gas as the operator of various industrial assets. The main industrial daughter of the company in Kazakhstan will continue working under the current name Zhaikmunai.
Head of Board of Directors of the company, global depositary receipts of which are traded at the London Stock Exchange, Belgian entrepreneur Frank Monstrie holds 40.5% shares and the Kazakhstan engineering-construction company KazStroiService – 27% shares, reported http://oilru.com.--0---
