Contradictory position on the election of Sardar Jalaloghlu
Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party Taliyat Aliyev, informed Turan, that the Chairman of the Democratic Party ( ADP) Sardar Jalaloglu has resigned.
In a statement, Jalaloghlu that states that he considers his course on constructive opposition promoted in 2005, to be a failure, as this idea was not supported by the public.
In addition, Jalaloghlu took responsibility for the defeat in the presidential election, where the official results show he finished last, even with 40,000 votes typed votes, which he submitted to the CEC for registration. He asked for these to be considered and taken into account on his application.
The day before Jalaloghlu disagreed with the results announced by the CEC - the turnout of voters and the distribution of votes , calling them " opportunistic ."
Without questioning the victory of Ilham Aliyev , he at the same time pointed out the wrong figures announced by the CEC.
