ICG Meeting on Afghanistan Begins
Baku / 28.06.18 / Turan: A meeting of the International Contact Group (ICG) on Afghanistan opened in Baku on Thursday.
About 90 representatives of countries and international organizations participating in the ICG participate in its work.
The Azerbaijani delegation is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov.
The participants of the meeting are discussing the further steps of the international community in the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan.
The ICG was established in 2009. It includes 60 states and international organizations. Along with Afghanistan itself, ICG is also co-chaired by Germany. -05D06--
